Surat Al-Anfal Ayat 17. فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَمَىٰ ۚ وَلِيُبْلِىَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْهُ بَلَآءً حَسَنًا ۚ إِنَّ فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ. (You killed them not, but Allah killed them.) meaning, it is not because of your power and strength that you killed the pagans, who were many while you were few. Rather, it is He Who gave you victory over them, just as He said in another Ayah, Talal Itani, 8/Al-Anfal-17: It was not you who killed them, but it was God who killed them. And it was not you who launched when you launched, but it was God who launched. Allah tidak menjadikannya (bala bantuan itu), melainkan sebagai kabar gembira dan agar hatimu menjadi tenteram karenanya. Kemenangan itu hanyalah dari sisi Allah. Dari Ibnu Abbas bahwa Rasulullah memerintahkan Ali bin Abi thalib: Ambilkan segenggam tanah, Ali mengambilnya dan diberikan kepada Rasul lalu dilemparkan kepada orang-orang musyrik, maka tidak seorangpun dari mereka kecuali terkena matanya, maka turunlah ayat ini. zCV5.
